Hello,

My name is Katie Underhill and I am the owner of The Underhill Company LLC

and KU Photographs.

    I earned my associates degree in Photographic Imaging in 2011 from Lansing Community College and KU Photographs came into being a few years later because of my God given love of stories.  

I found that photo restorations give me a lot of joy. Watching a memory that is damaged and faded come back to life gives me a deep sense of satisfaction.

      I also enjoy portraiture and I am trained in many other types of photography.  Give me a challenge and I will give you my best shot. I want getting your picture taken to be a fun, laid back experience.

 

In 2025 my husband and I decided to purchase an embroidery machine so I could learn more of this art since I have always loved this medium. I have been working my way through trainings with John Deere, an award winning embroiderer who has over 40 years of experience. My digitizing is done in house and we use American made thread and stabilizers. We also attempt to have American made products whenever possible. I hope you will consider me for your next project whether it is embroidery or photographic.
